The tenant in this case, Christy Black, brought this action against her landlord, Lorna Brooks, for noncompliance with the terms of two consecutive lease agreements and for failure to return her security deposit. Brooks counterclaimed for damages. After a bench trial, judgment was entered in favor of Black.
