Elaine VanKirk incurred medical expenses as a result of an injury sustained in the course and scope of her employment with Central Community College. The Workers' Compensation Court ordered Central Community College and Nebraska Community College Trust, Inc. (collectively the College), to pay the expenses. The College complied by making payments directly to VanKirk's health care providers within 30 days of the court's order. VanKirk then sought a waiting...
