Peterson was charged with intentional child abuse resulting in the death of a child, in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-707(6) (Reissue 2008), a Class IB felony, and unlawful burial, in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-1301 (Cum.Supp.2006), a Class IV felony.
