Following a jury trial, Eric T. McGhee was convicted of first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony in the 2003 shooting death of Ezra Lowry. McGhee was sentenced to life imprisonment on the murder conviction and to 5 to 10 years' imprisonment on the use of a weapon conviction.
