SUMMARY

The State convicted Daryle M. Duncan of first degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony for the December 4, 1999, death of Lucille Bennett. He received consecutive sentences of life in prison for first degree murder and 19 to 20 years' imprisonment for use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. We affirmed his convictions and sentences on direct appeal.1 Duncan now appeals the district court...
