INTRODUCTION

Clifford J. Davlin was convicted of second degree murder and first degree arson in 2000. On appeal, this court affirmed Davlin's conviction for arson, but reversed his murder conviction.1 Following a retrial, Davlin was again convicted of second degree murder.
