NATURE OF CASE

The defendant, Steven Parker, was found guilty of first degree sexual assault1 and was sentenced to 10 to 16 years' imprisonment. During the testimony of the alleged victim, S.M., the court placed a large screen in the courtroom to block Parker and S.M. from seeing one another.
