[¶ 1] Steven K. Aakre was admitted as an attorney in the State of North Dakota on October 5, 1981. Aakre was placed on interim suspension effective June 29, 2006, and until further order of the Court. See Disciplinary Board v. Aakre, 2006 ND 146, 718 N.W.2d 1. Thereafter, Aakre was placed on suspension for a period of eighteen months, retroactive to June 29, 2006. The Order provided Aakre must apply for reinstatement...
