Bill Raymond Simpson ("defendant") appeals his conviction of being a registered sex offender unlawfully on premises used by minors in violation of N.C. Gen.Stat. § 14-208.18(a) (2013). Defendant's appeal is before us on writ of certiorari. Defendant argues that his indictment is fatally defective and that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss. After careful review, we hold that defendant's indictment was not fatally defective....
