Corey Dinan (defendant) appeals his convictions of intentional child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury under N.C. Gen.Stat. § 14-318.4(a3) and of assault on a child under the age of twelve in violation pursuant to N.C. Gen.Stat. § 14-33(c)(3). We hold that defendant received a trial free from error in part.
