Defendant Daniel Charles Lewis appeals from his convictions of attempted first degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon. On appeal, defendant primarily argues that the trial court erred in not granting him credit for his time spent in federal custody prior to trial on the charges in this case. The statute authorizing credit is, however, clear and unambiguous, and defendant's time in federal custody did not qualify under its terms for sentencing...
