Walter Britt Garrison ("defendant") was convicted of two counts of habitual misdemeanor assault. The convictions were based on the jury finding him guilty of two counts of misdemeanor assault on a female and defendant's stipulations during the trial to the prior misdemeanor convictions alleged in the special indictments charging him with habitual misdemeanor assault.
