Monty S. Poarch ("petitioner") appeals the superior court's decision to affirm his dismissal from the North Carolina Highway Patrol (the "Patrol"), a division of the North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety ("respondent") For the following reasons, we affirm.
