This case comes before us on remand from the North Carolina Supreme Court for reconsideration in light of the decision in State v. Sweat, ___ N.C. ___, 727 S.E.2d 691 (2012). This opinion supercedes our earlier opinion. Upon reconsideration, we affirm our original decision. We find error as to defendant's conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon and no error as to his conviction for possession of marijuana...
