IN RE J.E.M., JR.

No. COA12-72.

727 S.E.2d 398 (2012)

In the Matter of J.E.M., JR.

Court of Appeals of North Carolina.

June 19, 2012.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

H. Lee Merritt, Jr. , Mount Airy, for petitioner-appellee Surry County Department of Social Services.

Peter Wood , for respondent-appellant father.

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP by Ashley A. Edwards , Charlotte, for guardian ad litem.

STEELMAN, Judge.

The trial court's finding as to the probability of the repetition of neglect was supported by substantial evidence in the record. The trial court's finding as to father's ability to pay support for the child was sufficiently specific, when father paid no child support. Father does not contest that termination of parental rights was in the best interest of the child.
