On 4 November 2002, defendant Curley Jacobs was indicted by the grand jury in Robeson County for robbery with a dangerous weapon, impersonating a law enforcement officer, first-degree burglary, and two counts of second-degree kidnapping. Defendant Jacobs was convicted of all charges by a jury on 29 September 2003.
