Jeffrey Devon Mewborn (Defendant) was convicted of possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on 19 August 2008. Defendant was sentenced to consecutive active sentences of forty-five days for carrying a concealed weapon, five to six months for possession of cocaine, and sixteen to twenty months for possession of a firearm by a felon.
