Plaintiff moved into a house in Stanly County in 2003 to provide assistance to her sister, Annie Quinn (Quinn), and to Harold G. Furr (Furr). Quinn and Furr were companions and both were in failing health. Plaintiff also helped Furr with duties related to his business. Furr owned A.J. Furr, Inc.
