¶ 1. Kendrick Body was convicted of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was sentenced to eight years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. During trial, Body made an ore tenus motion for a directed verdict, which the trial court denied. Body also filed a post-trial motion for a new trial, which the trial court denied.
