¶ 1. In 1993, George Michael Bass pleaded guilty in the Rankin County Circuit Court to murder, burglary of an occupied dwelling, and grand larceny. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, fifteen years for burglary of an occupied dwelling, and five years for grand larceny, with all sentences to run consecutively in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
