¶ 1. Timothy Edward Myers pleaded guilty in 1996 in the Jackson County Circuit Court to one count of kidnapping. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to thirty years, all to be served in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). In 1999, Myers filed a motion for post-conviction relief (PCR), which was denied, and he appealed. This Court reversed his sentence and remanded the case for a new hearing, finding that...
