¶ 1. On March 6, 2002, Renee Kiker was shot after a heated argument with her husband, Julius Kiker. Renee died as a result of the gunshot. Kiker was indicted in the George County Circuit Court for her murder. In his first trial, Kiker was convicted of murdering Renee.
