¶ 1. Stanley Gilmore was convicted of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon on September 7, 2011, in the Circuit Court of Copiah County. Gilmore stipulated that he previously had been convicted of two separate felonies and that he had shot Delwin Smith four times in self-defense.
