MAXWELL, J., for the Court.

¶ 1. During Raymond Scott Petty's trial for sexual battery, the judge admitted into evidence Petty's handwritten, signed confession, that he penetrated his six-year-old niece's vagina. Because the judge applied the correct legal standard, and his decision to admit the statement was not against the weight of the evidence, we find no error in denying Petty's motion to suppress.
