¶ 1. On March 12, 2009, Dante Lamar Evans was convicted of the murder of his father, Darold Evans. In accordance with the requirements of Mississippi Code Annotated section 97-3-21 (Rev.2006), the Harrison County Circuit Court sentenced Evans to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
