¶ 1. After an altercation in a Walmart parking lot, Calvin Wansley shot Jeremiah Wilson four times in the back. Wilson survived his injuries. A Hinds County jury rejected Wansley's self-defense theory, and he was sentenced to twenty years imprisonment for aggravated assault with an additional five-year enhanced penalty for the use of a firearm in a felony.
