¶ 1. This appeal arises from a February 2011 jury verdict in a medical-negligence case finding in favor of the Appellees, Dr. Adam Lewis and Dr. Jacob Mathis. Vesta Hathaway had filed a complaint against Dr. Lewis and Dr. Mathis alleging they were negligent in failing to discover and remove a bone fragment caused by surgery.
