¶ 1. After a jury trial in Lowndes County Circuit Court, Toney Jennings was convicted of one count of statutory rape and one count of resisting arrest on a law-enforcement officer. Jennings was sentenced to fifteen years, with five years suspended and ten years to serve, for statutory rape and six months for resisting arrest.
