MAXWELL, J., for the Court:

¶ 1. Larry Simmons appeals his manslaughter conviction. He argues the State failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did not act in necessary self-defense when he shot and killed his wife's boyfriend. We find the evidence was sufficient to support every element of manslaughter and does not weigh heavily against the guilty verdict. We therefore affirm.
