¶ 1. Earnest Ladd was convicted in the DeSoto County Circuit Court of conspiracy to commit grand larceny, grand larceny, burglary of a dwelling, and receiving stolen property. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to five years for conspiracy, ten years for grand larceny, twenty-five years for burglary, and five years for receiving stolen property.
