¶ 1. A Monroe County Circuit Court jury convicted nineteen-year-old John Daniel Rodgers of burglary of a dwelling, conspiracy to commit larceny, and armed robbery. He was acquitted of two other charges. For the burglary-of-a-dwelling conviction, Rodgers was sentenced to twenty-five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with ten years suspended and five years of post-release supervision.
