¶ 1. In May 2004, Mario Dockery was indicted for capital murder and conspiracy to commit robbery. Dockery pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of simple murder on March 13, 2007, in the DeSoto County Circuit Court. Following a sentencing hearing, the circuit court sentenced Dockery to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
