¶ 1. In this appeal, we are asked to decide if a landowner who lost his land at a tax sale was given adequate notice of a suit to quiet title in the purchaser before a default judgment was entered against him and whether he was protected by the bankruptcy laws. The chancellor found that a diligent search and inquiry had been conducted for the landowner before service by publication was made and that the bankruptcy laws were inapplicable...
