¶ 1. In 1995, Corey Parker was charged in the Jones County Circuit Court with armed robbery. In April 1995, Parker pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). In September 2010, Parker filed a motion in the circuit court to vacate and set aside his sentence. The circuit court properly treated the motion as one for post-conviction relief and summarily denied it...
