¶ 1. In August 2008, the Estate of Charles Ernie Harris, Sr. ("Estate") filed a medical malpractice action against John P. Lee, M.D., and the Forest Family Practice Clinic ("Clinic")1 in the Circuit Court of Scott County, Mississippi. Three days prior to trial, the Estate filed a "Motion to Transfer Venue" based upon Dr. Lee's status in the community and his son's position as the Scott County Sheriff...
