¶ 1. This appeal arises out of a contractual dispute between Charity Hohm Whaley and Freddie Parson, doing business as Parson Construction Co. Whaley hired Parson to do a variety of repairs to a historic outbuilding1 that Whaley owns. After completing the majority of the repairs, Parson refused to replace a number of windows on the building, claiming that he could not afford to do so. Whaley filed a complaint...
