FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. This case involves four certificates of deposit (CDs) funded by Carolyn Epperson's father, C.K. Rickman. The CDs were opened at SOUTHBank in Corinth, Mississippi, in 1993. The CDs were held by C.K. and his wife, Juanita, as trustees for Carolyn Epperson and Randy Thompson. Epperson is C.K.'s daughter and Juanita's stepdaughter. Randy is C.K. and Juanita's biological son. C.K. died in 1999....
