¶ 1. In 1997, the Circuit Court of Harrison County accepted James Franklin Putnam's guilty plea to one count of armed robbery. The circuit court sentenced Putnam to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), to run concurrently with a federal sentence. Putnam currently is incarcerated in Yazoo County. He filed a motion for post-conviction relief (PCR) arguing he is entitled to earned time...
