¶ 1. This appeal proceeds from the Coahoma County Circuit Court. After a jury trial held on January 26-27, 2009, Kandrin Kordel Grace was convicted of aggravated assault and sentenced to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with five years suspended and five years of post-release supervision.
