¶ 1. This appeal arises out of a contract between MAO, Inc., a business owned by Marvin A. Ornstein, and New Wave Limited, a dissolved corporation that was owned by Peter Schiff. Schiff sued Ornstein and MAO in the Jackson County Circuit Court, alleging fraud. MAO filed a motion for summary judgment, which Ornstein later joined.
