¶ 1. In March 2005, Paul Taylor pleaded guilty in Tate County Circuit Court to three counts of the sale of morphine.1 The circuit court sentenced him to nineteen years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) with ten years suspended and nine years to serve. After his sentence, Taylor filed a petition for post-conviction relief with the circuit court. The petition was dismissed....
