CARLTON, J., for the Court:

¶ 1. Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Coahoma County, Willie Joe Robinson was convicted of burglary of a building and sentenced as a habitual offender to seven years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). After the circuit court denied Robinson's motion for a new trial or, in the alternative, a judgment notwithstanding the verdict, Robinson filed the present appeal. We find reversible error...
