¶ 1. A jury seated in the Circuit Court of Jackson County returned a guilty verdict against John Johnson for the depraved-heart murder of Keith Franklin on March 5, 2008. Johnson was sentenced to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). Aggrieved, Johnson appeals and raises three issues.
