¶ 1. Ronnie Mitchener pleaded guilty in the Lowndes County Circuit Court to one count of kidnaping, for which the circuit court sentenced Mitchener to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Mitchener subsequently filed a motion for post-conviction relief (PCR), which was dismissed by the circuit court. On appeal, this Court reversed and remanded for an evidentiary hearing.1
