¶ 1. On August 14, 2006, Gilbert Ewing pleaded guilty in the Circuit Court of Hinds County to one count of armed robbery. Ewing was sentenced to serve thirty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with ten years suspended and five years of post-release supervision.
