Gregory Deon Jones was found guilty of armed robbery on July 26, 2006, and was sentenced as a habitual offender to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections without eligibility for parole or probation. Jones now appeals that conviction, arguing on appeal that the trial court erred in failing to grant his motion to dismiss for failure to grant a speedy trial.
