Willie Lewis Hodges, Jr., was convicted in the Circuit Court of Webster County of statutory rape of a child under fourteen years of age and sentenced to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Hodges appeals his conviction and sentence, arguing that the State improperly introduced evidence of prior bad acts and that the verdict was against the overwhelming weight of the evidence.
