¶ 1. John Woods was found guilty by a jury in the Circuit Court of Jackson County of capital murder and commercial burglary. He was sentenced to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections without the eligibility for parole for capital murder, and he was sentenced to seven years for commercial burglary, with the sentences to run consecutively.
