¶ 1. A jury sitting before the Oktibbeha County Circuit Court found Thomas Terrell Smith guilty of murder. The circuit court sentenced Smith to life imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) without the possibility of parole.
