¶ 1. On February 10, 2005, Renaldo D. Butler was indicted by a grand jury of the First Judicial District of Hinds County, Mississippi for possession of cocaine pursuant to Mississippi Code Annotated section 41-29-139 (Rev.2005). On February 6, 2007, Butler was found guilty by a jury of possession of cocaine. Butler was sentenced to eight years imprisonment, six years to serve, two years suspended, and two years of post-release supervision...
